Preprint Sales Representative

Pay Rate: PL14

$101,100 - $134,600 (USCORE)

Multiple factors, including individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

Physical Location:

Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Virginia. Remote location residing in the territory.

The Job You Will Perform:

  1. Committed to a safe work environment and ensures that all IP safety and health reliable methods and federal and state OSHA requirements are in place and followed.
  2. The position will support 4 plants that print flexographic preprinted liner.
  3. Function as both a technical resource for box plants and a sales representative for 3rd party accounts.
  4. Responsibilities include profitably growing business, implementing value propositions with key customers, exceeding financial goals, and providing timely feedback on market, customer, and competitive activity.
  5. Work closely with the Preprint Sales Manager to develop and execute key account plans, which generate profitable sales for the business.
  6. Create IP market advantage resulting in the development of new accounts and growth of existing accounts.
  7. Understand the industry, the market, customer requirements, and organizational capabilities that result in superior solutions and services, which differentiate International Paper in the marketplace.
  8. Collaborate with box sales reps, customer service, manufacturing, and design to resolve technical issues at both the converting facilities and the end customer.

The Skills You Will Bring:

  1. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and technical service support.
  2. BA/BS Degree in Business, Packaging Science preferred.
  3. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in graphic sales or corrugated box plant experience preferred.
  4. Ability to travel 75% of the time within the respective territory, with some overnight travel.
  5. Functional/technical skills in sales.
