Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for oilfield chemicals in Midland, TX with extensive travel across the Permian Basin. Base salary ranges from $85,000 to $150,000 with benefits and uncapped commissions; OTE well over $300K+.

Are you an experienced oilfield chemicals sales professional with a strong network across operators, service companies and completions teams looking to for a strong commission reward?

This is an opportunity to join an established oilfield chemicals and services business that is investing heavily in growth across the Permian Basin, with a particular focus on surfactants and reservoir chemistry, looking to expand its sales presence in Midland/ Odessa area and build further reach across operators, service companies and frac/completions customers.

The ideal candidate will bring an established network within the oilfield industry, particularly across completions, frac chemistry, production chemicals or acid stimulation, who is a driven sales-person motivated by a strong commission opportunity.

This is a genuine growth opportunity for someone who wants to build a territory, develop a new business line and be rewarded directly for the revenue they generate and maximise their commission earnings (previous company earning reward record was $600K)

THE ROLE:

• Develop new business across the Permian Basin, building relationships with operators, oilfield service companies, frac crews and other key customers.
• Drive growth within the company's expanding surfactants and reservoir chemistry business, using your industry network to identify and develop new opportunities.
• Engage with technical and commercial stakeholders across completions, frac chemistry, production and related applications, presenting tailored chemical solutions and taking opportunities through to supply.
• Take ownership of the Midland/Permian sales territory, working closely with the company's manufacturing, field services and logistics teams to build a stronger sales presence and grow the business.

THE PERSON:

• Proven sales experience within oil & gas, oilfield chemicals, completions, frac chemistry, production chemicals or acid stimulation, with an established network across operators and service companies.
• Strong technical understanding of oilfield chemistry, with the ability to discuss chemical applications and customer requirements confidently with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Commercially driven and motivated by uncapped commission and high earning potential, with a genuine appetite for winning new business and developing a territory.
• Based in or around Midland, Texas, with the autonomy and flexibility to travel extensively across the Permian Basin and build long-term customer relationships.
