Job summary
Tstrata Strengthening Solutions, a Structural Group Company, seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to cultivate and strengthen relationships with structural engineers and contractors in Northern California. You will work from the SF/BENICIA area, travel up to 50%, and support the design and specification process for strengthening products.
You will partner with engineers to develop consultative solutions, deliver technical presentations, and help get projects specified.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in structural design or as a field engineer.
- Strong understanding of structural drawings and project progression from engineer to contractor.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the defined territory; valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Review structural drawings with engineers and contractors to answer complex questions.
- Educate on product specifications to get Tstrata products included in early-stage drawings.
- Lead technical trainings and live product demonstrations for engineers.
- Manage territory with Regional Sales Managers and CRM tools to grow the pipeline.
- Support client communications and liaise between in-house engineering and structural engineers.
