Job Juncture is seeking a Mechanical Applications Engineer – Technical Sales to drive technical sales consulting and quotation engineering in the Washington County, WI area. You will serve as the technical bridge between clients, sales, and manufacturing in a fast-paced environment.

The role blends 75% client engagement with 25% engineering, requiring a BS Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in engineering and 2+ in inside sales or applications, plus ability to generate rapid quotes and ROI models.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related four-year engineering field.
• 5+ years of practical mechanical engineering experience with 2+ years of direct technical inside sales, proposal writing, or applications engineering.
• High-volume client engagement with 2025 daily client touchpoints in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication translating technical formulas into financial and operational benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead 20–25 daily technical client interactions via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Specify custom thermal/fluid systems to configure equipment tailored to client needs.
• Generate rapid technical quotes, system proposals, and ROI payback models.
• Perform blueprint and value engineering to deliver design modifications to sales and users.
• Bridge sales and plant floor by ensuring quotes align with lead times and fabrication limits.
• Present detailed technical specifications and compliance data to client executives for project approvals.
