Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. (SBIR), a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, seeks an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to promote, sell, and support IR cameras and electro-optic test systems for defense, aerospace, and commercial customers.

The role blends consultative technical selling with hands-on pre- and post-sales support, travel as needed, and ongoing account management to build long-term relationships across government and industry.

Formación

• 5+ years of sales or technical/engineering experience with optical and/or camera test systems.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and develop opportunities from contact to close.
• Strong consultative sales and technical support skills.
• Proactive account management, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in optics, cameras, and/or test equipment preferred.
• Relevant technical degree (BS or higher) in Engineering, Optics, Physics, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Promote, sell, and support SBIR products, including IR cameras and electro-optic test equipment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across defense, research, and government sectors.
• Manage a sales pipeline and advance opportunities from initial engagement through quotation and close.
• Provide pre- and post-sales customer support, including quotes and on-site visits.
• Occasional travel required.
