Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Structural or Materials Eng preferred.
• 3+ years in technical or industrial sales, engineering, or business development.
• Proven success in new business development and consultative selling.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; able to read drawings, specs, and processes.
• Able to explain technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic new business development plan for targeted industries and markets.
• Identify and prospect new customers via cold calls, networking, and events.
• Identify opportunities where fastening solutions improve performance, cost, or reliability.
• Lead technical discussions with customers to understand requirements and propose solutions.
• Introduce customers to fastening technologies, tooling, and value-added offerings.
• Develop proposals and coordinate evaluations, samples, testing, and trials.
• Lead opportunities from concept through approval, award, and production launch.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurate forecasts.
