Job summary

The Nederman Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sales Engineer to sell and support our product lines, develop strong client relationships, and manage front-end projects. You will assist with onboarding, credit management, cost sheets, and proposals while supporting marketing efforts and testCenter trials.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, 3–5 years in technical sales, and strong MS Office, CRM, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical sales or a supporting role.
• Strong communication, presentation and writing skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical sales activities including prospecting, qualifying, costing, proposing, and price negotiation.
• Maintain ongoing customer relationships with frequent face-to-face visits and sales planning.
• Support marketing activities: trade shows, materials, market research, website tracking.
• Provide sales support for test center trials, equipment startups, and technical reports.
