Job summary

The Nederman Group is seeking a FS Sales Manager to drive and expand order intake for engineered industrial air pollution control products across North America. You will coordinate with Applications, Engineering and Operations to develop proposals and win orders from a base of existing and new clients.

Responsibilities include proactive client outreach, evaluating prospects with a solutions-based approach, negotiating terms, and ensuring smooth turnover to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5-10 years of sales experience related to engineered industrial equipment.
• Experience selling air pollution control equipment or related machinery is highly desired.
• Proven ability to establish new NA client base.
• Strong hunter mentality to develop business with new and existing clients.
• Mechanical background or aptitude for interfacing with clients and engineers.
• Proficiency reading RFPs, specifications and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Proactively call on existing and potential clients to maintain and expand order intake volume.
• Lead generation and opportunity development to expand the client base.
• Evaluate potential prospects using a solutions sales approach.
• Prepare, submit and present technical & commercial proposals to clients; collaborate with teams to develop proposals.
• Negotiate price and terms & conditions of purchase orders.
• Assure smooth turnover of Order Intake to Operations and Engineering teams.
