Job summary

Molex in Fremont is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive and deepen relationships with key datacom customers, providing technical expertise and customer-facing support while shaping Molex's position in datacenter networking and AI applications.

You will collaborate with the Account Management team to build relationships with customers' Engineering, Global Supply Management, and Component Engineering teams, supporting design-in of Molex products and addressing high-speed interconnect

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related technical discipline.
• Sales/Account Management experience.
• Experience with Components, interconnect or related solutions.
• Experience working with OEMs that design in datacom products.

Responsibilities

• Provide innovative solutions to customer application opportunities leveraging Molex offerings.
• Lead projects with product management and product engineering teams for customer programs.
• Develop and maintain engineering relationships across assigned business units and expand technical skills.
• Manage focused business units at customers to help meet revenue targets.
• Provide technical feedback to customers and account managers, including collateral (3D modeling, renderings, drawings, product specs).
• Support current project initiatives by the Account Management Team.
• Track and document sales activity and pipeline in CRM.
• Identify revenue opportunities and present them to relevant business units for support.
• Coordinate demand creation activities across global teams to capture opportunities.
