Job summary

Molex is seeking a Field Application Engineer to drive design wins and resolve technical barriers for high-speed interconnects in Infotech accounts. You will partner with customer engineering teams to promote Molex solutions, while collaborating with internal groups to ensure successful design-ins and ongoing support.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/electrical engineering background, 3+ years in electronics, and proven customer-facing project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics or related field.
• 3+ years in electronics engineering with customer interaction.
• Experience leading projects and prioritizing assignments.

Responsibilities

• Support customer engineering contacts and sales to secure design wins.
• Establish technical relationships with key engineering contacts.
• Resolve design-in issues for High Speed I/O, Backplane/BTB/Storage Connectors/Cables.
• Provide solutions using Molex product portfolio and assist in proposals.
• Collaborate with other Molex field application engineers.
