Job summary

Molex is seeking a dynamic Field Application Engineer to lead technical engagements and remove barriers in designing Molex connectors, cables, and solutions for Infotech customers. You will drive design wins for high-speed copper products and build strong relationships with customer engineering while expanding opportunities.

Collaborating with Molex teams across Product Management, Global Sales, and Signal Integrity, you will deliver innovative solutions, demos, and customer-facing presentations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or physics field.
• At least 3 years of engineering experience in electronics.
• Experience interacting with customers.
• Experience leading projects and prioritizing tasks.
• Experience in optics, high-speed copper backplanes, PCIe, signal integrity, mechanical/thermal modeling.

Responsibilities

• Support customer engineering contacts and drive new design wins and a convertible Salesforce pipeline that leads to growth.
• Establish strategic technical relationships with key engineering contacts in the customer.
• Resolve design-in issues for High Speed I/O, Backplane/BTB/Storage Connectors/Cables with customer engineers.
• Propose innovative solutions using Molex offerings and assist Account Management with proposals.
• Share knowledge with other Molex FAE's in Infotech/Datacom space.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Global Sales, Advanced Development, Signal Integrity and other groups.
