Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field
• Minimum 3 years' relevant engineering experience within the electronics industry
• Experience directly interacting with customers
• Experience managing and leading projects, dynamically prioritizing assignments, and working independently
• Experience in Optics, High-speed Copper Backplane, PCIe, Signal Integrity, Mechanical/Thermal Modeling

Responsibilities

• Support customer engineering contacts and Molex sales to secure new design wins and convert Salesforce pipeline.
• Establish strategic technical relationships with key engineering and SI contacts with the customer.
• Resolve technical issues for design-in of High Speed I/O, Backplane/BTB/Storage Connectors/Cables and other copper solutions.
• Provide innovative solutions using Molex offerings and assist in proposing those solutions to customers.
• Share knowledge and collaborate with other Molex FAE's in Infotech/Datacom space.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Global Sales, and other groups inside Molex.
• Recommend improvements to interconnect systems and resolve customer issues.
• Assist Product Marketing with competition reviews and customer processes.
• Create supporting documents and application notes for customers.
• Develop demos and customer-facing presentations on technical concepts.
