Job summary

Molex's Sales Team in Fremont is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive and deepen relationships with strategic datacom customers. You will provide technical expertise and customer-facing support while helping shape Molex's position in datacenter networking and AI applications.

You will partner with the Account Management team to design-in Molex products, engage with customers' engineering teams, and lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve high-speed interconnect challenges and

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related technical discipline.
Sales/Account Management experience.
Experience with Components, interconnect or related solutions.
Experience working with OEMs that design in datacom products.

Responsibilities

Provide innovative solutions to customer application opportunities utilizing Molex offerings.
Lead projects with product management and product engineering teams for customer programs.
Develop and maintain engineering relationships across assigned business units and continually develop technical product skills to sell Molex offerings.
Manage focused business units at customer to achieve or surpass assigned revenue targets.
Provide technical feedback to Customers and Account Management team including collateral (3D modeling, renderings, drawing, product specs).
Track and document sales activity and pipeline in the CRM system.
Find desirable revenue opportunities and present to Business Units for necessary support.
