Job summary

D.W. Clark in Taunton, MA is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to bridge customers with our casting capabilities. You will evaluate projects, determine manufacturing methods, estimate and quote, and serve as the primary contact as orders move through operations.

The role requires strong engineering foundations, CAD modeling, interpretation of drawings, and a drive to deliver high-quality, efficient work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in castings, foundry, metallurgy or metals manufacturing is required.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings, quality requirements and specs.
• Proficient in CAD and able to model accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Effective communication across all levels and responsiveness.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to access to government and contract information.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, drawings, specifications and 3D models for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to select optimal methods.
• Configure materials, tooling, outside costs in estimation software and obtain supplier quotes.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and engage with customers.
