Job summary

Dynacast, a Form Technologies subsidiary, is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to serve as a technical expert bridging engineering, sales, and customers in Milwaukee. You will design solutions, optimize applications, and deliver outstanding customer support.

You'll lead development, testing, and validation for customer-specific use cases, act as SME during pre-sales and post-sales engagements, collaborate with sales, product development, and engineering teams, and mentor junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or related field) required.
• 8–10+ years of experience in applications engineering or related technical roles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.
• Occasional light lifting of office items.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand technical requirements and objectives, delivering aligned solutions.
• Lead application development, testing, and validation for customer-specific use cases.
• Act as SME during pre-sales and post-sales engagements, delivering demonstrations and technical support.
• Collaborate with sales, product development, and engineering teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex issues.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends to inform strategy.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to promote learning and innovation.
• Support product roadmap planning with customer and market insights.
