Job summary

Swagelok Southeast Texas, La Porte, TX, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our Technical Sales team. This role combines engineering expertise with customer-focused sales and business development.

You will identify opportunities, develop technical solutions, prepare proposals, and support customers throughout the sales cycle, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and other internal teams to meet requirements and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Experience working directly with customers including negotiation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Assembly Solutions opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with Sales and teams to identify customer needs and expand Swagelok offerings.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through meetings and visits.
• Provide front-end engineering support to develop proposals meeting requirements.
• Lead and support customer evaluations and audit services.
• Prepare detailed proposals for Custom Solutions projects.
• Handover sold opportunities to Project Management with accurate info.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers and teams to resolve challenges.
• Coordinate schedules, resources, and quality requirements cross-functionally.
• Support Assembly Solutions strategic initiatives and growth.
