Job summary

Swagelok Southeast Texas is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our Technical Sales team. This role blends engineering expertise with customer-focused sales and business development to identify and develop Assembly Solutions opportunities.

You will work with customers, Sales, Engineering, Project Management and internal teams to deliver solutions that meet requirements, timelines and margin objectives. Travel approximately 10% to support customers is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience working directly with customers, including negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Assembly Solutions opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with Sales and other teams to identify customer needs and grow adoption of Swagelok products.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through meetings, presentations, and visits.
• Provide front-end engineering support to proposals meeting requirements, delivery, and margin objectives.
• Lead and support evaluations to identify needs and solutions.
• Prepare detailed proposals with Project Management for Custom Solutions.
• Hand off sold opportunities to Project Management with complete information.
• Serve as technical resource for customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate schedules, resources, quality, and execution cross-functionally.
• Support Assembly Solutions strategic initiatives and business growth.
• Identify opportunities, address challenges, and drive results.
• Promote teamwork and cross-department collaboration.
