Technical Sales Engineer - Aerospace & Defense

About the Role: As a key player in our team, you’ll be responsible for achieving sales targets for Aerospace, Defense, and Test & Measurement products within your territory, specifically covering the New England region and Canada. This is a remote role, but you must be located in the New England region. Your mission? Building relationships, providing expert advice, and selling innovative solutions that make a real impact!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Meet/exceed sales targets and KPIs in your territory.
  • Develop sales strategies with the Sales Manager and Business Development team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Travel regularly within your territory to meet customers.
  • Drive territory goals independently while working from a home office.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales and Application Engineering teams.
  • Prepare price quotes and proposals; maintain CRM data.
  • Participate in trade shows and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Deliver technical presentations to customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering, or applied physics, with 10+ years of technical sales experience.
  • Aerospace market knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience in sensor or signal conditioning/DAQ sales.
  • Strong technical understanding of sensors, electronics, and software.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and build customer networks.
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • US Citizenship and ability to lift 50 pounds and travel 50% of the time.
