Davalyn Corporation is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support Southern California manufacturers, including aerospace, defense, and medical device customers. The ideal candidate will have solid carbide tooling expertise, experience with 5-axis and Swiss-type machining, and a track record in technical sales or applications
Qualifications
- Experience with carbide cutting tools and CNC machining applications.
- Technical sales, applications engineering, or industrial distribution in the tool/machining sector.
- Knowledge of 5-axis and Swiss-type machining is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical sales and applications support for CNC milling, turning, 5-axis, Swiss machining and precision manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with machine shops and aerospace/medical customers in the assigned territory.
- Recommend solid carbide and indexable tooling based on machining requirements and production goals.
- Support customers with tooling selection, feeds and speeds, and tool life improvements.
- Conduct on-site visits, demonstrations, and machining performance assessments.
