Tube Form Solutions, LLC, a SOCO Machinery / VLB Group / HSG Laser distributor, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to sell Tube Benders, End Forming equipment, and Tool products and Accessories.

Based in northern Indiana, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for a territory that includes both customers and non-customers. The role involves being a direct contact for clients, assisting with product and application inquiries, expediting and closing sales, and following up on customer needs.

Scope and Responsibilities
  1. Prospect, develop, and close orders with new and existing customers, ranging from small job shops to large corporations.
  2. Manage and grow customer/prospect database within Salesforce.
  3. Deliver presentations and proposals detailing technical features, CNC control, and options related to equipment, tooling, and accessories.
  4. Execute order forecasting and reporting.
  5. Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Communicate effectively in business interactions.
  7. Achieve monthly gross profit and market share quotas.
Requirements
  1. At least 2 years of experience in capital goods or technical product sales, or equivalent education/training.
  2. Creative problem-solver with strong communication skills.
  3. Results-oriented with a focus on sales, profit, and market share.
  4. Highly competitive and motivated to succeed.
  5. Excellent technical and professional communication skills.
  6. Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
  7. Negotiation skills and technical aptitude in mechanical equipment.
  8. Unrestricted driver’s license for travel.
  9. Hands-on mechanical and computer skills.
  10. Industry experience preferred.
