Job summary

Mitutoyo America Corporation in Novi, MI is seeking a Distributed Products Sales Developer to join our technical sales team. You will develop product knowledge, support distributors, and build strong relationships with end users while demonstrating products in showroom and at client facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop Technical Product Knowledge by learning Mitutoyo’s precision measuring instruments and distributed products.
• Support Sales Activities by assisting Precision Tool Sales Representatives and identifying opportunities throughout the sales process.
• Build Customer Relationships with distributors, integrated suppliers, and end-users to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Conduct Product Demonstrations and participate in training and customer presentations at showrooms and client sites.
• Support Distributor Networks by participating in distributor training, promotional activities, and cross-brand initiatives.
• Develop Business Opportunities by identifying prospective customers and supporting sales campaigns and new product announcements.
• Assist Key Accounts with productivity improvements, ROI analysis, and process improvements.
• Coordinate Sales Events such as open houses, workshops, and distributor trainings.
• Learn Territory Management and internal sales resources to develop effective sales strategies.
