Job summary

Mitutoyo America Corporation in Novi, MI is seeking a Distributed Product Sales Developer to join our sales team. This role focuses on building customer relationships, learning technical products, and gaining practical experience in territory management, distributor relationships, product demonstrations, and technical sales.

You will work with experienced Precision Tool Sales Representatives, travel up to 75% of the time, and have the opportunity to advance into a Precision Tool Sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in sales or a technical environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical product knowledge through training and practical applications.
• Support sales efforts and identify opportunities.
• Interact with distributors and end-users to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Assist with product demonstrations and customer presentations.
• Participate in distributor training and promotional activities.
• Identify prospective customers and support sales campaigns.
• Assist key accounts with productivity improvements and ROI.
• Assist in organizing open houses and workshops.
• Learn territory operations and distributor relationships.
