Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Development Representative to join our Customer Engineering team in Boise, Idaho.

You will lead end-to-end technical tasks, deploy samples, manage lifecycle events, and address customer inquiries with an automation-first mindset and AI-based workflow ideas. You will work closely with Field Applications Engineers to support design cycles, qualification processes, and cross-functional teams, driving faster validation and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (e.g., Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science)
• 3+ years in semiconductor industry or related field (field application, systems, or hardware test)
• Strong communication between customers and internal teams
• High technical literacy and ability to adapt to new tech and roadmaps
• Understanding of memory/storage technologies and platform tech (CPU, GPU, NPU, PMIC)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end technical product samples from configuration to final validation
• Coordinate and track technical product processes across multiple customer accounts
• Serve as a point of contact for technical product inquiries and raise complex issues for deeper analysis
• Maintain technical product docs, qualification statuses, and project data in internal systems and portals
• Manage product change notices and lifecycle events to inform customers of transitions
• Oversee regional hardware loaner pools and manage inventory, reservations and utilization reports
• Handle approvals/docs for manufacturing or factory-level modifications after qualification
• Drive status of failure analyses and return authorizations for visibility
• Maintain customer-specific configuration rules to enforce hardware supply constraints
