Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks an Associate Field Applications Engineer to lead end-to-end technical tasks, sample deployments, lifecycle management and customer interactions. Embrace an automation-first mindset and apply AI-based workflows to improve daily operations.

You will coordinate product samples, respond to inquiries, maintain documentation, manage changes and support design cycles while enabling fast, reliable design wins for global customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years in semiconductor industry or related field (FAE, systems engineer, or hardware test engineer).
• Strong knowledge of hardware engineering workflows and lifecycle dates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal teams and customers.
• Ability to adopt automation-first approach and AI-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end technical product samples, from configuration to international shipment and final validation.
• Coordinate and track technical product processes across multiple customer accounts.
• Serve as point of contact for technical inquiries and escalate complex issues for analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation, qualification statuses, and project data in internal systems and portals.
• Drive lifecycle events and last-time-buy windows to keep customers informed.
