New Flyer is seeking a technical sales professional to coordinate bids and proposals, liaise with Regional Sales Managers and other internal teams to address customer needs, and drive solutions from engineering to pricing and approvals.

The role requires strong project management, blueprint literacy, and knowledge of heavy-duty bus architectures, with a university degree in business or engineering. On-site, collaborative environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Project management experience.
• Ability to read blueprint and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting and contractual terms and conditions.
• Working knowledge of heavy-duty transit bus architecture and components.

Responsabilidades

• Review customer specifications and understand customer needs with Regional Sales Managers.
• Act as primary contact with customers during early stages of bid and proposal processes.
• Initiate bid BOM and coordinate with cell teams.
• Work with engineering, service, operations, finance, legal, aftermarket to develop solutions for gaps.
• Work with Supply team to ensure BOM costing and quotes are obtained.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop final pricing and obtain approvals.
• Prepare bid or proposal package and submit within guidelines.
• Handle customer inquiries and follow up on open items related to technical definition.
• Maintain sales funnel, CRM and supporting documentation.
