Job summary

Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Bidding Engineer Technician to manage RFQs end-to-end, from initial review to submission.

The role collaborates with Proposal Coordinators, Program Managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and competitive proposals. The position requires analyzing technical requirements, preparing BOMs, estimating labor and material costs, and identifying sourcing solutions to support winning bids.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred.
  • Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience; three to five years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage RFQs from review through submission.

About The Role

The Bidding Engineer Technician plays a critical role in developing accurate, competitive, and timely proposals by managing Request for Quotes (RFQs) from review through submission. Working closely with Proposal Coordinators, Program Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional teams, this position analyzes technical requirements, prepares Bills of Materials (BOMs), estimates labor and material costs, and identifies sourcing solutions to support successful bids. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, and communicates effectively with both internal teams and customers to ensure quote accuracy and completeness.
