Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a senior risk leader to manage risk for two Technology Executives, partnering with leadership and teams to apply risk and technology expertise, conduct impact assessments, and drive root-cause analysis for risk reduction across technology groups.

The role requires strong communication and leadership to collaborate across Technology, Operations, Audit, GIS and other stakeholder groups, ensuring effective QA, control execution and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology experience with finance/risk exposure.
• 3+ years in a technical discipline such as data management, AI, or information security.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts to executives and junior analysts.
• Proven accountability and ownership progression.
• Change agent capable of steering diverse stakeholders groups.
• Strong collaboration and influencing abilities.
• Comfort with ambiguity; analytical, simplifying problems and collaborating to solve them.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design and effectiveness assessment of risk controls for Client Operational Services.
• Monitors and tests controls, identifies issues and improves remediation.
• Leads implementation of optimized controls and QA practices for business continuity.
• Manages performance and productivity of quality inspection reviews team.
• Ensures timely QA activities including control execution, case management, and results reporting.
• Manages and reviews all operations frontline responses for regulatory exams and internal audits.
• Ensures data accuracy and captures information for inspection metrics and governance dashboards.
