Job summary

Fortreum, a fast-growing cloud security and compliance firm, is hiring a Technical Recruiter to own the full-cycle process across cybersecurity, engineering, and business roles. This fully remote role supports federal agencies and commercial clients, with opportunities to work on roles requiring security clearances and to partner with HR and managers for a smooth hire.

You should have 3–5 years of recruiting experience, including technical recruiting, and familiarity with Ashby and cleared

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• 2+ years recruiting for technical roles such as cybersecurity, cloud, software engineering, or IT.
• Experience recruiting for cleared positions in the federal or government contracting space.
• Experience using a modern applicant tracking system.
• Ability to manage multiple open roles independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for open roles, from intake to onboarding.
• Lead intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements, must-have skills, and screening criteria.
• Conduct initial phone screens, assess candidates’ technical background and clearance eligibility.
• Source active and passive technical talent via LinkedIn, job boards, technical communities, networking, and referrals.
• Coordinate with outside recruiting agencies on hard-to-fill roles and review candidates.
• Manage candidate pipelines, interview scheduling, and Ashby records.
• Serve as main contact for candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive experience.
• Partner with HR to move candidates to offers and provide market insights.
• Contribute ideas to improve recruiting processes and employer branding.
