Fortreum is a fast-growing cybersecurity and cloud compliance firm seeking a Technical Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting for cybersecurity, engineering, and business roles, including positions requiring security clearances. This fully remote role offers ownership and visibility in a high-growth environment.

You will partner with HR and hiring managers, manage candidate pipelines in Ashby, and contribute to recruiting processes and employer branding while delivering a positive candidate

Qualificações

• 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years recruiting for technical roles such as cybersecurity, cloud, software engineering, or IT.
• Experience recruiting for cleared positions in the federal or government contracting space. (An active clearance is not required for this role.)
• Experience using a modern applicant tracking system.

Responsabilidades

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for open roles, from intake meetings and job postings through candidate selection and handoff to onboarding.
• Lead intake meetings with hiring managers and technical leaders to define role requirements, must-have skills, and screening criteria.
• Conduct initial phone screens, assessing candidates’ technical background, clearance eligibility where required, and alignment with Fortreum’s values.
• Source active and passive technical talent through LinkedIn, job boards, technical communities, networking, and referrals, building pipelines for recurring roles.
• Coordinate with outside recruiting agencies on hard-to-fill roles, including sharing role requirements and evaluating candidates.
• Manage candidate pipelines, interview scheduling, and Ashby records.
• Serve as main point of contact for candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive experience.
• Partner with HR to move selected candidates to offer stage and share market insights.
• Contribute ideas to improve recruiting processes and employer branding.

The Opportunity

Fortreum is a fast-growing cybersecurity and cloud compliance firm serving federal agencies, government contractors, and commercial organizations. Backed by recent private equity investment and expanding through our AI-native compliance platform, Kovr.ai, we are scaling quickly and looking for a Technical Recruiter to manage hiring across the company.

As Fortreum’s in-house recruiter, you will own the day-to-day recruiting process in Ashby and work closely with HR and hiring managers. You’ll fill cybersecurity, engineering, compliance and business roles, including positions that require security clearances. This is a fully remote role with real ownership and visibility. It is a great fit for a recruiter with a technical background who wants to grow with a company in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for open roles, from intake meetings and job postings through candidate selection and handoff to onboarding.

• Lead intake meetings with hiring managers and technical leaders to define role requirements, must-have skills, and screening criteria.

• Conduct initial phone screens, assessing candidates’ technical background, experience, clearance eligibility where required, and alignment with Fortreum’s values.

• Source active and passive technical talent through LinkedIn, job boards, technical communities, networking, and employee referrals, and build pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.

• Coordinate with outside recruiting agencies on specific hard-to-fill roles, including sharing role requirements, reviewing submitted candidates, and moving them through the Ashby process.

• Manage candidate pipelines, interview scheduling, and communication in Ashby, and keep candidate records accurate and up to date.

• Serve as the main point of contact for candidates and hiring managers, keep them informed at every stage, and deliver a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

• Partner with HR to move selected candidates to the offer stage, and share candidate and market insights to inform offers.

• Contribute ideas to improve recruiting processes and employer branding.

Basic Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years recruiting for technical roles such as cybersecurity, cloud, software engineering, or IT.

• Enough technical fluency to discuss technologies, certifications, and role requirements with candidates and hiring managers.

• Experience recruiting for cleared positions in the federal or government contracting space. (An active clearance is not required for this role.)

• Experience using a modern applicant tracking system.

• Ability to manage multiple open roles independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Ashby.

• Experience as a sole or lead in-house recruiter.

• Experience in a start-up, high-growth, or private equity-backed company.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST, or ISO.

• Experience recruiting for AI/ML, DevSecOps, or SaaS product roles.

Posted Salary Range

$80,000 - $95,000 annual salary
