Job summary

Eight Sleep is seeking a Technical Recruiter to lead sourcing, evaluation, and hiring of engineers and other technical candidates. You’ll partner with hiring managers, tailor recruitment strategies, and deliver a positive, streamlined candidate experience.

Based in NYC or SF and in‑office 5 days a week, you’ll use LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow and niche boards to build a strong talent pipeline, run full‑cycle recruiting, and help optimize processes with AI tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in recruiting or talent operations.
• Experience with technical recruiting in startup or high-growth environments.
• Ability to assess technical skills and understand programming concepts.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs and technical skill requirements.
• Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies to attract high-quality engineering candidates.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting: postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding.
• Utilize sourcing tools (LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, niche boards) to find top talent.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline for current and future openings.
• Conduct in-depth technical screenings to assess skills and cultural fit.
• Provide exceptional candidate experience and maintain regular communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and processes.
• Analyze recruitment metrics and continuously improve hiring processes.
• Stay updated on recruiting trends and best practices in tech.
