Autonomize AI in Austin is seeking a Technical Recruiter to scale engineering and AI teams from our Austin HQ. You will own full-cycle recruitment for high-impact technical roles, partnering with hiring managers to define requirements, build pipelines, and deliver an exceptional hiring experience from outreach through close.

The ideal candidate is proactive and data-driven, skilled at sourcing hard-to-find talent in competitive markets, and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Experience hiring software engineers, AI, and data roles.
• Knowledge of modern development practices and AI/ML talent markets.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

Autonomize AI is looking for a Technical Recruiter to help scale our engineering and AI teams from our Austin HQ. In this role, you’ll own full-cycle recruiting for high-impact technical positions—partnering closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, build strong candidate pipelines, and deliver an exceptional hiring experience from first outreach through close. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we attract, assess, and hire top talent as we continue to grow. You’ll bring a thoughtful, data-driven approach to recruiting—balancing speed and quality while building relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and energized by sourcing and engaging hard-to-find talent in competitive markets. Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end recruitment process for key technical roles, including: Full Stack Engineers, ML Engineers, DevOps & QA Engineers and any other technical hiring requirement that may come up as we grow.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand hiring priorities and shape recruiting strategies.
• Build and maintain a strong, diverse pipeline through creative sourcing and networking across platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, and professional communities.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects Autonomize AI’s mission and culture.
• Manage interview coordination, feedback loops, and offer negotiations efficiently and transparently.
• Track and report recruiting metrics to drive continuous improvement.Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives.

Must Have Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in high-growth tech or startup environments.
• Proven success in hiring across software engineering, AI, and data-related roles.
• Deep understanding of technical stacks, modern development practices, and AI/ML talent markets.
• Proficiency with ATS platforms, sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.), and recruitment analytics.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• High sense of ownership, adaptability, and a passion for building great teams.
