Job summary

Loft Federal is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to own the end-to-end recruiting process for a rapidly scaling team. You will source, screen, and guide candidates, partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements and build effective recruitment strategies.

As the only technical recruiter, you will manage pipelines for systems engineering, software/hardware roles, and program management while ensuring a candidate-friendly interview process.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in aerospace/defense.
• Experience recruiting cleared engineers in aerospace/defense.
• Active clearance or clearability preferred (DoD/IC Top Secret background with 3+ years remaining or SCI eligibility).
• Experience on internal recruiting teams and high-volume recruiting.
• Strong networking and influencing skills with hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting from sourcing to offers.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and build recruiting strategies.
• Develop long-term pipelines for current and future needs.
• Assess technical ability and cultural fit across multiple disciplines (systems engineering, program management, software/hardware).
• Coordinate interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience from start to finish.
• Leverage referrals, external partners, and events to build the brand and pipeline.
• Advocate Loft Federal’s mission and value proposition to attract top talent.
• Maintain accurate records in the ATS (Greenhouse).
