Position: IT Recruiter (This is an IT Staffing agency role)

Location: HYBRID Dedham/Westwood area, MA (3 Days Onsite)

Are you an experienced IT Recruiter looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and fast-paced staffing environment?

Our client, a leader in the IT Staffing industry, is seeking a driven recruiter to join their team in southwest of Boston!

This role requires expertise in recruiting for positions such as Software and Electrical Engineers, and for professionals with Department of Defense (DoD) security clearances.

What You’ll Do:

  • Source, screen, and place top-tier IT and engineering talent in contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand hiring needs and create effective recruitment strategies.
  • Identify and engage candidates with DoD security clearances, ensuring compliance with clearance requirements.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of Software Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and other technical professionals.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and networking.
  • Stay up to date on market trends and DoD hiring regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1 1/2 + years of IT recruiting experience in an agency or staffing firm environment (no corporate recruiters please).
  • Proven track record of placing engineers in contract roles.
  • Understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance hiring requirements.
  • Experience working with cleared candidates and navigating security clearance processes.
  • Excellent sourcing skills with proficiency in ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and job boards.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
