Job summary

Blue Yonder Defense Solutions (BYDS) seeks a Technical Project Manager (Solution Design) to lead implementation of defense core supply chain modules. The role requires up to 25% travel and collaboration with product, program management, and QA teams.

Strong software background and enterprise experience are essential. The TPM will guide discovery, document requirements, design and deploy solutions, mentor developers, and ensure successful delivery across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years writing software
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of data modeling and Domain Driven Design
• Experience with Agile (Scrum or SAFe)
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/OCI)
• Strong OO programming skills and data structures
• Experience with Java and SQL
• Experience with integration patterns (REST/EDI/SOAP)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
• Experience in enterprise software or supply chain domain is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead solution implementation with customers and stakeholders
• Conduct discovery sessions
• Document software requirements specification
• Produce design documents and participate in reviews
• Create project plans
• Write code, unit tests, and deployment scripts (minimally)
• Mentor a team of developers
• Review test strategies
• Monitor and manage project execution
• Perform performance and scalability testing
