Job summary

Blue Yonder Defense Solutions (BYDS) seeks a Technical Project Manager (solutions design) to lead the development and delivery of the Defense Core Supply Chain Application module suite. This hybrid Dallas-based role requires up to 25% travel and close collaboration with customers and internal teams, including product management, analysts, development, and QA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and Domain Driven Design.
• Experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
• Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or OCI).
• Strong Java programming skills; good SQL and Oracle DB knowledge.
• Experience with REST/EDI/SOAP enterprise integration patterns.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Domain knowledge in supply chains and logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution implementation with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct discovery sessions and document software requirements.
• Produce design documents and participate in design reviews.
• Create project plans and manage execution.
• Write code, unit tests and deployment scripts - minimally.
• Mentor a team of developers and participate in code reviews.
• Review testing strategies and monitor project progress.
• Collaborate with product management, program management, development and QA.
• Support deployment, integration, and performance activities.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with customers.
