Job summary

Blue Yonder Defense Solutions (BYDS) seeks a Technical Project Manager (solutions design) to lead implementation for the BYDS Defense Core Supply Chain Application module suite. The role involves collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders, including PM, analysts, development, and QA, while traveling up to 25% monthly.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software, strong Java/SQL skills, and extensive experience with cloud environments and integration patterns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience
• Experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe)
• Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure/OCI)
• Strong object-oriented programming skills (Java)
• Experience with relational databases; SQL proficiency
• Familiarity with integration patterns (REST, EDI, SOAP)
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions with customers
• Analyze customer requirements and document software requirements specifications
• Produce design documents and participate in design reviews
• Create project plans and manage execution
• Guide and mentor a team of developers
• Participate in code reviews and test strategy reviews
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders
• Travel up to 25% as needed
