Blue Yonder Defense Solutions (BYDS) is seeking a Technical Project Manager (solutions design) to lead solution implementation for the Defense Core Supply Chain Application modules. The role requires travel up to 25% monthly and collaboration with product management, analysts, development, and QA.

Hybrid role in Dallas. Qualifications include BS/MS in Engineering/CS/SC, 10+ years of software development, strong analytical skills, and experience with Agile methodologies and cloud environments

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience writing software in relevant background.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of data modeling and Domain Driven Design.
• Experience delivering projects with Agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe).
• Experience building and deploying applications in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, OCI).
• Strong OO programming skills and knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle) and writing SQL queries.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and protocols (REST, EDI, SOAP).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Systems implementation skills across requirements, design, configuration, testing, training, and support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions with customers.
• Analyze requirements and document Software Requirements Specification.
• Produce design documents and participate in design reviews.
• Create project plans.
• Write code, unit tests, and build/deploy scripts (minimally).
• Guide and mentor a team of developers.
• Participate in code reviews and test strategy reviews.
• Monitor and manage project execution.
• Execute performance and scalability tests and profile hotspots.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders across product management, program management, analysts, dev, and QA.
