Job summary
Leidos is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Huntsville to lead complex, software-intensive defense projects. You will manage technical execution, schedules, and budgets while coordinating with government customers and internal teams.
The role requires strong leadership, DoD experience, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through Agile processes, with travel to customer locations as needed.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience leading technical projects with DoD customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of multiple technical projects and tasks with cost, schedule, and performance accountability.
- Coordinate with government customers and internal leadership to define priorities and plans; travel as required.
- Develop integrated project plans, budgets, and WBS to align resources with objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams across software, systems, cybersecurity, IT, and contracts.
- Monitor performance and deliver reviews to customers and leadership; manage risks and recovery plans.
- Oversee software development lifecycle, Agile planning, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Interface with customers to translate needs into actionable technical priorities and results.
