Job summary

Olive seeks a Technical Project Manager in San Francisco for a hybrid, full-time role overseeing large-scale data solutions for AI and enterprise clients.

You will lead client-facing projects from planning through delivery, coordinating engineering, product, data, and operations to ensure successful outcomes. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on communication and results.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $130,000–$185,000 per year

About The Role

We are hiring a Technical Project Manager on behalf of our client, a global technology company that provides large-scale data solutions to leading AI companies, retailers, consumer brands, cybersecurity firms, and enterprise organizations.

The company helps businesses access, structure, and use large volumes of publicly available web data for artificial intelligence, business intelligence, market research, competitive analysis, and automation.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead complex, client-facing technology projects from initial planning through delivery and post-launch support. You will work closely with engineering, product, data, operations, and business teams while serving as a primary point of contact for enterprise clients.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in San Francisco. Candidates must be able to work from the San Francisco office as required by the hybrid schedule.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage multiple technical projects from kickoff through successful delivery.

  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them into practical project requirements and delivery plans.
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering, product, operations, or data teams.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, reporting practices, performance metrics, risk management, and budget tracking.
  • Working understanding of software development, cloud technologies, IT infrastructure, data analysis, APIs, or SQL.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with data platforms, analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, or large-scale data operations.
  • Experience delivering projects for enterprise customers.
  • Background in client-facing consulting, professional services, implementation services, or managed services.
  • Experience supporting e-commerce, retail, consumer brands, digital commerce, cybersecurity, or technology organizations.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, Agile, or another relevant project management certification.
