Job summary

Recruiting from Scratch, a specialized talent firm, seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager to own AI-powered product areas for enterprise clients in the SF Bay Area. You will partner with engineering leadership to build products used by world-leading organizations, blending AI, data, and workflow automation.

You will lead discovery, define specs, and drive production-ready initiatives with a strong emphasis on KPIs and customer outcomes in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of Product Management experience, including at least 2 years in a highly technical product management role.
  • Strong technical foundation with experience partnering with engineering on complex software products.
  • Experience building B2B SaaS, AI, or enterprise platform products.
  • Familiarity with LLM-powered applications, AI workflows, or ML systems in production.
  • Proven ability to lead customer discovery, conduct user research, and translate insights into successful products.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs, product metrics, experimentation, and iterative product development.
  • Experience writing detailed product specifications and communicating effectively across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using modern AI development tools to rapidly prototype ideas.

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you'll own core product areas that blend AI, data, and enterprise workflows while partnering closely with engineering leadership to build products used by some of the world's most innovative organizations.

What You Will Do

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core AI-powered product areas.

  • Define success metrics, analyze product performance, and continuously iterate based on customer outcomes.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into intuitive user experiences for enterprise customers.
  • Contribute to long-term product strategy while helping shape the future direction of the platform.

Ideal Background

  • 4-7 years of Product Management experience, including at least 2 years in a highly technical product management role.
  • Strong technical foundation with experience working closely alongside engineering teams on complex software products.
  • Experience building B2B SaaS, AI, machine learning, or enterprise platform products.
  • Familiarity with LLM-powered applications, AI workflows, or machine learning systems in production.
  • Proven ability to lead customer discovery, conduct user research, and translate insights into successful products.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs, product metrics, experimentation, and iterative product development.
  • Experience writing detailed product specifications and communicating effectively across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using modern AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar to rapidly prototype ideas.
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments.

Preferred

  • Experience building AI-native enterprise products or developer platforms.
  • Background collaborating closely with engineering, infrastructure, or platform teams.
  • Experience launching products from zero-to-one as well as scaling existing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise workflows, automation platforms, or operational software.
  • Comfortable building lightweight prototypes or validating ideas independently through code and AI-assisted tooling.
  • Exceptional product intuition with strong UX judgment and customer empathy.
  • Startup experience working in high-growth environments with significant autonomy.
  • Passion for AI, enterprise software, and building category-defining products.
