Job summary

Yeshnex IT Solutions in the United States invites an experienced Application Development Manager to lead a team of Java developers in enterprise projects. You will oversee planning, design, testing, and implementation, ensuring adherence to SDLC and coding standards.

Ideal candidates have a development background (Java or C++/C#), strong Agile experience, and proven ability to coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management for a team of Java programmers across multiple projects.
• Lead and mentor staff at personnel and technical levels.
• Assist in analysis, design, testing, and implementation of new or existing systems.
• Assist in installation and/or implementation of new or existing purchased systems.
• Create and maintain project plans for multiple projects your team is responsible for.
• Assist in resolving problems by analyzing the issue and deciding upon a course of action.
• Research and evaluate new software systems.
• Research and evaluate new tools to be used by developers to increase productivity.
• Ensure programming standards and policies are followed by the team.
• Communicate with users to determine problems or design requirements.
• Create a team environment to complete programming projects in a timely manner.
• Ensure all projects follow the Systems Development Life Cycle process.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Application Development.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in managing software development teams that develop enterprise applications in Java
• Experience in programming – preferably Java or C++/C# (–Must be from Development background)
• Experience leading staff using an agile methodology
• Knowledge of project management standards and tools
• Experience in project management
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with both the business community and the technical community
• Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail
