Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Los Angeles to lead end-to-end technology initiatives. You will define scope, governance, and success metrics while coordinating cross-functional teams across business, tech, vendors, and operations.

The role requires 5–6 years in hands-on project management, strong Agile/Scrum expertise, and proficiency with Jira/Confluence. You will manage integrated plans, risks, and reporting in a fast-paced consulting-like environment.

Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Responsibilities

  • Stand up projects end-to-end, defining scope, objectives, success metrics, governance, and ways of working.
  • Create and maintain governance artifacts including charters, RACI, RAID, decision logs, and integrated plans.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across business, technology, vendors, and operations.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical paths.
  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
  • Drive accountability and ownership among workstream leads and vendors.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, escalating with options and recommendations.
  • Facilitate governance forums including SteerCo, working sessions, and executive reviews.
  • Provide concise executive reporting on delivery status, business impact, risks, decisions, and next steps.
  • Ensure alignment with strategy, budget, roadmap, priorities, and value realization.
  • Close projects, including transition to operations, knowledge transfer, post-launch support planning, and lessons learned.
