Job summary
Planet is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Trade Compliance to embed within our product, software development, and data analytics teams in Denver. You will translate ITAR/EAR and OFAC requirements into scalable product features and workflows while ensuring rapid delivery.
You will document design intent and decisions and drive compliance across the architecture and deployment pipelines. As a TPM, you will collaborate with product managers and engineers to align roadmaps with
Qualifications
- Experience applying ITAR/EAR requirements to software products.
- Ability to translate complex regulations into actionable product features.
- Experience working with cross-functional software teams.
Responsibilities
- Embed within product and software teams to drive trade compliance.
- Turn regulatory requirements into scalable product features and workflows.
- Audits and documents export control decisions and design intents.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers on roadmaps and lifecycle.
- Develop Know Your Customer and screening workflows aligned with OFAC rules.
- Guide teams on ITAR/EAR tradeoffs without slowing delivery.
