Job summary

Loft Orbital is seeking a Technical Program Manager, Customer Delivery, to synchronize product development with customer value. You will own Mission Development Plans, manage the Customer Offering Portfolio, and partner with CDEs to ensure capabilities and tooling are in place for successful missions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in technical program, product, or engineering roles.
• 3+ years as an Engineering Program Manager (EPM) or Product-focused TPM at a product-driven tech company, leading cross-functional programs from definition through ship.
• Experience deploying products into production or operational environments, including release readiness, cross-team dependency management, and post-deployment quality.
• Experience in the satellite or aerospace industry, with working knowledge of spacecraft systems, mission operations, or payload development.
• Experience working directly with external customers, including executive-level stakeholders.
• Exceptional and proven technical aptitude: able to go deep with engineers on architecture and tradeoffs, and translate that fluently for customers and executives.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, from engineering deep dives to executive summaries, with the organization and prioritization skills to run multiple parallel workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the Mission Development Plan for assigned missions: identify work to deploy and execute, break into work packages, drive to completion against launch deadlines.
• Manage the Customer Offering Portfolio: maintain the catalog of capabilities Loft can deliver, identify deltas, drive new capability development.
• Partner with Customer Delivery Engineers to deliver customer value: ensure capabilities, plans, and tooling are in place when needed.
• Connect Customer Delivery to Loft's product organization by representing operational constraints in planning and deploying new features.
• Drive cross-functional coordination and status clarity: run internal reviews, report progress, risks, blockers, and align leadership and customers.
• Engage directly with customers up to executive level on scope, schedule, and capability tradeoffs.
• Continuously improve Customer Delivery processes, templates, and workflows to increase execution efficiency without sacrificing quality.
