Job summary

Loft Orbital, based in San Francisco, seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to coordinate workloads across Infrastructure, Operations, Solutions, and Product Engineering, delivering complex work efficiently with high autonomy.

You will bring structure to a highly cross-functional environment, drive program delivery, and improve the reliability and scalability of satellite operations while managing risks and dependencies for executive audiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical program/project management experience in SW and Service Operations.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile development teams (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
• Analytical mindset plus the ability to develop processes to address operational challenges, automating whenever possible.
• Strong interpersonal skills; capable of influencing others without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop materials for an executive audience.
• Ability to travel at least once per quarter for cross-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support Cloud, Test and Space Infrastructure teams in workload management, program delivery and cross-functional coordination.
• Support on-call scheduling across global timezones.
• Own the ways of working within the Infrastructure team and ensure our processes are followed and aligned to necessary standards.
• Manage internal Risk register and escalation as appropriate to program and cross-functional deliveries.
