Job summary

Rochester Precision Optics, LLC is seeking a Technical Program Manager in West Henrietta, NY to lead complex customer programs from award to delivery. You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and contracts to meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality goals.

The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and clear communication with customers and internal teams; experience with ERP systems (Epicor) and MS Project is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field; engineering preferred.
• 5-7 years leading customer-facing programs in technical/manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, schedules, budgets, and risks.
• PMP certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex customer programs from contract award through production and final delivery.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers; communicate milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Business Development to drive execution.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable execution plans and priorities.
• Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Prepare program updates and present to leadership and customers.
