Job summary

New York Technology Partners seeks an experienced Project/Program Manager for a Rochester-area manufacturer. This role focuses on managing complex customer and manufacturing programs, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality and operations.

You will own projects from launch through delivery, oversee schedules and budgets, identify risks, support proposals and commercial discussions, and drive equipment delivery through installation and customer acceptance on site.

Qualifications

• Project or program management within manufacturing, machinery, automation, aerospace or engineered products
• Customer-facing project ownership
• Cross-functional coordination with engineering and operations
• Schedule, budget, risk and deliverable management
• Capital equipment, automation or complex manufactured products
• Proposals, quotations, contracts or other commercial responsibilities
• Installation, commissioning, startup or customer acceptance experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field preferred

We're partnering with an established Rochester-area manufacturer that is adding experienced Project and Program Management talent to support complex customer and manufacturing programs. This opportunity is well suited for professionals who have managed technical projects involving engineered products, industrial equipment, automation, machinery, or complex manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities may include managing projects from order or program launch through completion, serving as a primary customer contact, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality and operations, managing schedules and budgets, identifying project risks, supporting proposals and commercial discussions, and helping drive equipment or product delivery through installation and customer acceptance.

Ideal candidates will bring experience in areas such as:
