Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA in Foster City, CA seeks a Technical Program Manager for Operations and AI Enablement. You will lead AHE operations, drive quarterly planning, budgeting, and implement AI automation to boost productivity.

You will coordinate across hardware, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams to meet business objectives. The role requires 6+ years in TPM, strong communication, and experience with JIRA/Confluence, plus knowledge of AI tools and coding workflows.

Qualifications

BS/MS degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent job experience.
At least 6 years of experience in Technical Program Management leading complex cross-functional programs across hardware and/or software.
Proficiency with end-to-end product development processes and tools (JIRA, Smartsheet, risk tracking).
AI familiarity: LLMs, prompt engineering, and tools such as Claude and Gemini; proficiency with Cursor/Claude Code/VS Code.
Strong communication, structured reporting, and audience-tailored messaging.

Responsibilities

Lead AHE Operations: quarterly planning, budgeting, and operational improvements.
Lead AI tools rollout to empower TPMs and engineering across IT tools like JIRA/Confluence/Slack.
Drive Jira hygiene and issue resolution targets to meet timelines.
Streamline firmware configuration across project configurations.
Collaborate across hardware, firmware, software, procurement, and manufacturing.
Communicate status with standard reports and concise updates to stakeholders.
