Eaton’s Mobility Group is seeking a Technical Program Lead to onsite in Carol Stream, IL. The role leads a multidisciplinary NPI stamping team to deliver on schedule, BOM, and product maturity for manufacturing handoffs.

The position offers a path to impact across engineering, program management, and manufacturing. Relocation is not offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Carol Stream, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of four (4) years experience in engineering product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary NPI stamping team to meet project targets, BoM and timing.
• Ensure the achievement of required product maturity over the life cycle.
• Responsible for the BoM Process approval and release.
• Internal technical interface to engineering, PM, supply chain, manufacturing and commercial teams.
• External technical customer interface for the team.
• Organize cross-functional team meetings and drive agendas.
• Prepare technical decision options for the change control board and management escalation.
• Plan technical work packages (content/schedule/quality) according to the project schedule.
• Plan and execute product/system releases according to defined schedule.
• Plan samples and ensure engineering build management and sample release.
• Interface with manufacturing for successful realization of sample builds.
• Release Engineering Documentation to plants to perform sample builds.
