Job summary

Molex in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking an NPI Process Engineer - Progressive Stamping to act as a technical expert in stamping processes and support new product introductions from concept through production release.

You will lead tool development, process qualification, and troubleshooting, work with design and manufacturing teams, ensure quality and efficiency, and drive projects to successful on-time launches.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or hands-on experience in progressive stamping or related manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tooling prints.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, qualification, and validation of stamping tools and processes for new products.
• Collaborate in design reviews to optimize manufacturability and tooling.
• Transition tooling and processes to production with training and support.
• Develop process documentation including PFMEAs, control plans, and flows.
• Troubleshoot complex tooling and process issues using structured problem solving.
• Manage multiple projects with milestones and timelines.
• Maintain safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
